FAQs

Are we involved in the design process?

Yes, our clients will always be involved in the design process as it is catered to them and their home! Dulcina Interiors will always communicate what is going on and what we’re going to be doing with our clients home to make sure there is not any miscommunication to avoid any mishaps.

What are the typical timelines for completing a project?

Depending on the project size it differs from every one. For example if a client has a full house remodel project that they’re looking to do it will normally take about 7-10 months or for a kitchen remodel it will normally take 6-8 weeks.

We try to communicate this to our clients beforehand so they know the timeline. We have a document specified for timelines and explaining in depth what our clients should expect during the process. We also like to be open with our clients and tell them it might take longer for bigger furniture pieces and some decor items that may be on backorder.

What kind of budget should I have?

So, we get asked this question all the time and we understand. We are a very honest and upfront company. Depending on the service chosen the budget should be more realistic when factoring in furniture, painting, decor, materials, etc. We all know how expensive that can be.

For example a budget for a full design and decorating service with reselecting of furniture, decor, and/or painting is around $5,000+ and that is the minimum. We haven't factored in tax, labor, professional trades, etc. We have documents explaining more of where the money is going.

What if I don’t like the design?

That is totally normal for clients to not like a design or pieces chosen for the design. We are hired to help you create a design that you will feel comfortable in and want to see everyday. We encourage our clients to be 100% upfront with us about any design we present and we will work even harder to make sure we give you what you created in your mind of what you wanted your home to look like.

How often will we talk?

We will communicate with you during the whole design process. It’s one of the many things clients love about us. We encourage the client to also communicate with us if they have any concerns or questions before, during and even after the design process. We only ask that you keep the communication during our working hours.

Do you travel?

Yes, Dulcina Interiors has no problem traveling to a client. We actually serve many places in Texas hours away or if the project is worth it we can even travel outside of Texas. We want to help as many clients as we can no matter where they may live. This also includes clients that have vacation homes, rentals, etc.
